Welcome to the Smithtown Stitchers Block of the Month (aka BOTM).
NEW RULES FOR BLOCK OF THE MONTH 2008
At the monthly meeting members can pick up a block of the month pattern, which will
include a piece of fabric to be used in the construction of the block, at the BOTM table.
January's BOTM pattern and fabric is free.
All subsequent BOTM patterns, with the fabric included, will have a nominal fee of 25
cents per pattern.
Members can purchase more than one pattern.
There will be a new pattern and swatch of fabric each month.
Make the block, bring it to the next month's meeting and turn it in at the BOTM table.
You will receive a raffle ticket for each block turned in and another raffle ticket for a
special raffle at the January 2009 meeting. The special raffle prize is a completed top
of all the BOTM blocks from through out the year. The top will be constructed by the
BOTM coordinators. All members who have participated during the year will be eligible.
The number of blocks turned in at the meeting will determine the number of winners
picked. The blocks will then be divided up amongst the winners.
The BOTM patterns will not be available on the website.
