Ladies meet the first Friday of every month from 9am to noon. For more information, talk to Helen Pedigo at a guild meeting. (Temporarily suspended due to Covid-19) Charity Knit-In A group of volunteers also meets at the Saint Thomas of Canterbury Church to participate in "World Vision Knit". They meet the second Saturday of every month from 2 to 4pm. They knit and crochet blankets, hats, and scarves for people in need. Contact is Deruda Dalton through the church. Quilts For Kids Quilts For Kids is a national organization with chapters across the country. There is a chapter that meets at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. The chapter meets twice a month, once in the evening and once during the day. You are welcome to attend either or both meetings. Bring your sewing machine.
