Membership Information and Location
New memberships will be processed and begin on January 1, 2007.
Renewal membership may be processed from December 2006.
Deadline date for membership payment is March 31,2007.
The fee for members joining during September through November is half-price for the current year.
Membership is limited to 200 members.
Guests may attend guild meetings for a fee of $5/visit.
No guests are allowed at the December meeting.
Meeting Dates: The 3rd Monday of every month at 7:30 PM
Meeting Place: The Brush Barn, 211 Main St. (Rte 25A), Smithtown, NY.
Directions: The Brush Barn is located on the north side of Rte. 25, 1/2 block east of Rte. 111. The Barn,
which cannot be seen from the street, is behind the Epenetus Smith tavern, a historical inn. Enter
driveway on east side of the tavern, directly across from the bank. Click here for a map.
Meeting Times: Meetings start promptly at 7:30 pm. The Library is open at 7:00pm and during break.
Vendors are available from 7:00 to closing.
Members are expected to participate in the making of the raffle quilt, a community service quilt, and
to serve on at least one of the committees listed on the membership form.
Each year a raffle quilt is made to raise money for the guild. All members are expected to sell at
least 4 raffle books.
The Guild holds a Quilt Show every two years. Our next show is scheduled for October 2008.
Members are required to volunteer for 2 hours at the show.
ABC Quilts meet on the 3rd Monday of the month. Workshops as scheduled.
Newsletters are sent out 4-6 times a year. "Have You Heard" is an update on guild news and is
available only at meetings.
Use your membership card to receive discounts at various quilt shops, classes, shows, events.
