Membership Information and Location
Renewal and new memberships dues are processed beginning at the first general meeting in January.
To be on the current Membership List, the dues payment deadline is March 31.
Members joining after September, pay half the usual yearly rate.
Membership is limited to 200 members.
Guests may attend guild meetings for a fee of $5/month. This fee may be applied to your Membership
fee when you sign up on the same night.
No guests are allowed at the December meeting.
Meeting Dates: The 3rd Monday of every month at 7:30PM
Meeting Place: The Brush Barn, 211 Main St. (Rte 25A), Smithtown, NY.
Directions: The Brush Barn is located on the north side of Rte. 25, 1/2 block east of Rte. 111. The Barn,
which cannot be seen from the street, is behind the Epenetus Smith tavern, a historical inn. Enter
driveway on east side of the tavern, directly across from the bank. Click here for a map.
Meeting Times: Meetings start at 7:30PM with the social gathering (refreshments) in the first 15 -20
minutes. The Library is open at 7:15PM until the Library raffle drawing. Vendors are available from 7PM
to closing.
Members are expected to participate in the making of the raffle quilt, a community service quilt, and
to serve on at least one of the committees listed on the membership form.
Each year a raffle quilt is made to raise money for guild programs. All Members are expected to sell at
least 4 raffle books.
The Guild holds a Quilt Show every two years. Our next show is scheduled for October 16 & 17, 2010.
Members, to be in good standing, are required to volunteer for 2 hours at the show.
Comfort Quilts meet on the 1st Monday of the month at Sewtime Sewing, 2793 Middle Country Rd.
