Guild Workshops are open to all members first and are limited to 20 students. If there is space in the class then it will be open to non-guild people. If there is no waiting list, you must find a person to take your place in order to get a refund. You can show up 30 minutes prior to the scheduled time to set up your work area. You will have 30 minutes following the workshop for clean up.

NOVEMBER 17, 2008 - Program - "Magical Manipulations with the Muslin Mistress" with Jennie Rayment from England. This skinnyish, red-haired, slightly wacky Brit is totally obsessed with 'Nipping and Tucking' fabric manipulation and surface texture. Unique in her field, she's now internationally known for her quick, simple, innovative and original techniques with manipulated material and her hilarious lectures. This one is NOT to be missed. NOVEMBER - Workshops - "Cosmic Happening" with Jennie Rayment Take one large square and one large circle and Jennie's specially simple construction technique to create this most unusual and ingenious design. Simple to piece - just straight seams. Manipulate, embellish, and embroider, add some decorative machine quilting to complete an 18/20" bordered panel. "Sudoku with Texture" with Jennie Rayment Nine ingenious ways to create surface texture and manipulated magic. Create all nine ideas in class and combine to create an amazingly marvellously nipped, tucked, twiddled and fiddled panel with a little added extra embellishment. All twin beds, no top bunks. All of the double rooms have been reserved. April - Program - UFO Challenge results May - Program - Quilting Bees discussion June - Program and Workshops with Carol Doak inspiring us with her paper piecing methods! JUNE 14th and 15th.
